Welcome to Retractable Technologies’ (“RTI”) StikTalk, a platform dedicated to raising awareness about needlestick injuries (NSI) and fostering a supportive community for those affected. By submitting your story or any related content to StikTalk, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions: 

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years or older at the time of submission. By sharing your story, you confirm that you meet this requirement. 

Submission Guidelines

The content is based on your personal experience or that you have obtained permission to share another person’s experience. 

The content does not include confidential patient information or violating any HIPAA or other applicable privacy laws. 

The content does not contain false, or misleading information. 

Rights and Usage

By submitting content to Retractable Technologies, Inc., you grant RTI a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, distribute, and display your content in any media format, including but not limited to online publications, newsletters, and social media platforms. 

Content must be submitted via the designated email or online portal provided by RTI.  

Submissions must include the participant’s full name, credentials, and contact information for fact-checking purposes.  

RTI reserves the right to edit content for clarity, grammar, and length at the editor’s discretion. 

Privacy and Confidentiality

Retractable Technologies, Inc. respects your privacy and will not share your personal information without your consent. 

Moderation and Removal

RTI reserves the right to review, edit, or remove any content that violates these terms or is deemed inappropriate. Submissions that do not align with RTI’s mission of fostering a supportive and informative community may be rejected or modified before posting. 

No Compensation

By submitting your story, you acknowledge that you are providing the content voluntarily and will not receive compensation for its use. 

Disclaimer

The views and experiences shared on StikTalk are those of the contributors and do not necessarily reflect the opinions or policies of RTI. StikTalk is not a substitute for professional medical or legal advice. If you have concerns about a needlestick injury, seek assistance from a qualified healthcare professional or legal advisor. 

Ineligibility

Content that fails to meet the submission guidelines or eligibility requirements will be excluded from posting. 

Submissions containing plagiarized content will be rejected and ineligible for posting.  

Content that violates HIPAA laws or contains confidential patient information will be removed and destroyed. 

Content must not be created using Artificial Intelligence of any sort.
